How to Delete Your Data

We respect your right to control your data. This page provides instructions on how you can delete your personal information from our application. You can request the deletion of your data in several ways:

Option 1: Delete Your Account Through the App

You can delete your account and associated data directly through our application:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to "Settings" or "Account Settings"
  3. Select "Privacy" or "Data Management"
  4. Click on "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm your decision by following the prompts

Once confirmed, your account and all associated personal data will be scheduled for deletion from our systems.

Option 2: Submit a Deletion Request

If you prefer, you can submit a data deletion request by:

  • Sending an email to privacy@gymsync.me with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  • Including your account email address and username in the body of the email
  • Specifying whether you want to delete specific data or your entire account

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once completed.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information will be removed from our systems:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
  • Your activity history and usage data
  • Your preferences and settings
  • Any content you've created or uploaded
  • Authentication information, including Facebook login data

Please note that some information may be retained for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes as required by law.

Timeframe for Data Deletion

We will process your deletion request within 30 days. However, it may take up to 90 days to completely remove your data from all our systems and backups. We will notify you via email once your data has been completely deleted.

Third-Party Data

If you've used Facebook authentication with our app, we will also remove the connection between your Facebook account and our application. However, please note that you may need to visit Facebook's settings to revoke permissions separately. You can manage your Facebook app permissions at Facebook Applications Settings.
